The acceptable pH factor in Cold Tubs is 7.2 to 7.8 with the ideal levels being 7.4 to 7.6, as measured by an accurate pH test kit. Maintaining this range assures maximum purity, increases the efficiency of your sanitizing chemicals, controls scale formation and corrosion, helps prevent cloudy water, and avoids bather irritation and discomfort. Correct pH balance also minimizes the possibility of damage to Cold Tub finishes, metal equipment, and filters.
